Blue Cap’s mission is to serve as a catalyst for children and adults with intellectual disabilities to be educated, have quality life experiences, be respected and be a valued member of their community.
Message from the Executive Director
For 50 years, Blue Cap has been a place where people come to choose services, realize
personal goals, take advantage of opportunities to participate in the life of
their community, have friends, and be exposed to a world that they have not yet
With the help of staff, volunteers, community
leaders, Board Members and donors, Blue Cap continues to thrive and is in a
great position to work with the opportunities and challenges of the future.
you to learn more about us on this Website, attend a special event, get
involved, and please come to visit us.

Adopt-A-Home is a program where a group of people can help us with the upkeep at one of our Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) and/or spend some time with the people who live there and develop relationships.
Volunteer at Events
Volunteers are also needed for the fundraising events Blue Cap hosts every year, including Tag Days, Phonathon, Golf Outing, Auction Rose Walk, and Candlelight Bowling. Put together a team or come out individually to volunteer for our Annual Tag Days fundraiser. Volunteers perform various jobs for each event, including collecting donations at intersections and storefronts, handing out candy and information about Blue Cap.
